Link Tutorial

The Link command lets you link multiple chats to a Master Group, in which you can make changes from, and will automatically Sync the changes to the links groups.

Things synced/linked cannot be undone once they've been exported, to stop future changes, you must unlink the chat.

Unlike the sync feature, which you can read about by Clicking Here, this will automatically sync your settings and triggers when you make a change!

Requirements

  • You must be the admin in both groups.
  • Navi must be the admin in both groups.

Link Manager [Profile]

If you don't want to memorize and have to deal with commands, you can easily do all of this through the Navi Profile.

Connect to profile

  • Visit your Navi Profile
    • you can also send Profile to Navi's private messages.
  • Select Manage Groups
  • Select the group you'd like to export changes from
  • Select Manage Linked Chats

Here you'll find a list of groups that are linked and unlinked. To select a group to export future changes to, select on the label that say Unlinked.

Listing Groups

Command: Link

To find a list of groups you can link to your main group, so that future changes are exported to the selected chat, you have to say Link.

If a chat is already linked, it may not show up, you can confirm if it's already linked by saying Unlink.

Each group will have an ID next to it (usually a number), this is the identifier you'll use to link the chat in the next step.

Link

Format: Link <number>

To link a group, you must first say Link to find the group you'd like to link, once you got the ID next to it, you must say Link <number>.

Replace <number> with the number displayed next to the group.

Once the chat is linked, all future changes made in the group like settings, triggers, toggles, etc... will automatically apply to the selected group.

Example

Listing Linked Groups

Command: Unlink

To view a list of groups that are linked to your group, you must say Unlink.

Unlink

Command: Unlink <number>

To unlink a group so that future changes no longer are transferred to the selcted group, first you must say Unlink to find the ID for the group.

Once you've found the ID for the group, you must say Unlink <number>.

Replace <number> with the number displayed next to the group.

Unlinking doesn't remove all the changes made in the past, but it will prevent future changes from automatically exporting to the group.
